ในตอนนี้จะกล่าวถึง มาตลีเทพบุตรได้อธิบายเหตุที่สัตว์นรกต้องโดนทุกทรมานในขุมนรก เช่น ในอดีตตอนที่เป็นมนุษย์ ได้เรี่ยไรทรัพย์ของคนอื่นโดย อ้างว่าจะนำไปทำบุญทำทานสร้างวิหารเป็นต้น แต่กลับนำทรัพย์นั้นไปใช้จ่ายตามความพอใจ ไม่ได้ทำบุญดังที่กล่าวไว้ ตายไปตกอังคารกาสุนรก (อัง-คา-ระ-กา-สุ-นะ-รก) อุสสุทนรกขุมที่ ๔ ซึ่งเป็นนรกที่มีนายนิรยบาลกำลังเอาอาวุธมีหอก ดาบ ค้อนเหล็กเป็นต้นที่ไฟกรดลามเลียอยู่ทิ่มแทงสัตว์นรก ไล่ตีสัตว์นรกให้ตกไปในหลุมถ่านเพลิง
